Figure Skating Original Dance - 4:15 pm
Jamie and Karen - Men's Bobsled at Whistler

Men's Hockey - Sweden vs Finland- 9:00 pm

Another gorgeous day in Vancouver.
Okay, retirement here is looking pretty good! :-)

After enjoying another delicious breakfast, at our B&B, I've decided to post some of our 'sport celebrity' sightings and other interesting 'human interest' tidbits.

Iain is trying to be like my brother David by introducing himself and talking to anybody he recognizes! At the curling venue he spoke to John Morris' (Canada's 3rd) Dad and Mom, the US Skip's Mom and the GB's Skip's Dad - oh, what a wonderful Scottish brogue he had!
As we were walking out of the Italian restaurant last night, Pat Quinn walked in and we struck up a conversation with him. He is such a gentle, friendly and warm man!

Funny Iain/Dad story (I should have lots of these by the end of the games!)
We walked by a Greenpeace supporter, on the street, who was asking for donations. Iain looked her straight in the eyes and bellowed 'Exxon Mobil' with a big smile on his face! If looks could kill, Iain would be dead! :-)

We are wearing our 'Virtue and Moir' T-shirts today for the Original Dance Event.
I have a very personal connection with Scott Moir. I am a long time friend of his Mom Alma and her twin sister Carol. We skated together for years, summer and winter, at the Ilderton Skating Club north of London. Scott is the same age as my Colin and his beautiful smile is courtesy of my Dad, who was their family dentist! He and Tessa are the best dancers in the world!

Trying to figure out how to load photos on the blog.
Don't think we have the correct connection cord to do so.....
